Employment Support Programme

At the New Leaf Advice Centre, we have a dedicated Employment team to help you find work.

New Leaf

We have joined several housing associations to offer you a range of employment and training opportunities through the Love London Working employment programme. Since 2016 we have helped over 200 people into employment.

Love London Working is an exciting training and employment programme to help unemployed people over the age of 16 into work. No matter how long you’ve been out of a job or what barriers to work you may be facing, our team can assist you.

With Love London Working we’ll support you all the way from offering training opportunities to financial support through to developing skills like IT and work related training. We also offer individual support with job applications, CV writing and interview practice. Plus, we have a wide variety of jobs and work placements ready for you to apply to across London.

To register for our Employment Support Programme please contact Ellie Reubens by email at [email protected] or telephone 07825735321.

Frequently asked questions

Am I eligible to register for employment support?

To register you need to meet the criteria:

  • Currently be unemployed or not in paid work.
  • Live and be registered at a London address.
  • Have a permanent right to remain in the UK.
  • Have one form of photo ID.
Can I register if I am already employed?

Unfortunately, we are only able to accept registrations from people who are currently unemployed. However, we may still be able to signpost you to an external organisation who can provide you support.

I’ve found a job, what happens next?

Once you have secured employment, please notify us. You will need to provide your Employment Coach with evidence of your employment. We will then remove you from our job seekers database, but will still contact you over the following months to check if you are still employed.
